So, we are now in week 12 of pregnancy #2. The question that is now on our minds is do we find out the sex of this baby?!? Now, I immediately jump to of course we do! Seth, however, really, REALLY wants it to be a surprise. He feels that there are so few surprises in this world and would love to wait and find out on November 29. Those who know me and my type A personality know this thought goes against everything in me....So, I am trying to determine if it is possible for me to wait. Stay tuned...

Just wanted to wish all the mommas a very HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! We are spending the weekend trying to stay cool (and trying to keep nausea away :) ). Hope you all have a great weekend and you are able to spend time with those you love.

C got a new chair yesterday and he loves it because it looks just like his dad's chair. He loves that he can sit in it and he fits! He was so excited this morning and ran right up to it to sit...just thought we would share some pictures.

The weather is great right now and C loves to be outside. Even an exploration out front is a great adventure to him! He has reached a point where he does not really like holding our hands and make a great effort to not be held back! He has recently started running and loves to run in the house and out-hope you all are well.

Wow! It has truly been along time since we posted! So much has happened....
This past weekend C had his first haircut! He did fine until the end and then he decided he no longer wanted to be there. Here are some pictures...

Sorry for the lapse in updating you all, but things have been super hectic. Thanksgiving was fun and low key this year. C has been taking more and more steps...he is still not exclusively 'walking' but he is trying it more and more. He is eating more and more 'adult' foods with peas, mandarin oranges, cheese and chicken being his favorite. I am also happy to say that he is now sleeping almost completely through the night! It was a long time coming but he has made great progress with that as well....here are some pictures from this past week...

C loves books! Especially his pop-up dinosaur book!
He crawls to it and picks it up and is
so excited when we open each page!

He continues to walk around the furniture and
is standing on his own more and more.
He has taken a couple more steps,
usually only when he is trying to get
his daddy's remote (which he loves)!

C is really a daddy's boy. He loves spending time with
his dad. He is beginning to comprehend
that daddy leaves in the morning and
has the brightest smile when he comes home!

C had fun on Halloween, though I think he was more annoyed with his costume than anything else! We went over to some friend's house and went out with their kids trick or treating! C liked being with the other kids but really got annoyed with everything pretty quickly and quickly retreated to his stroller. I think the highlight of his night was the glow stick that dad had!
Conor learned yesterday to stand on his own!!! He likes to walk along furniture and yesterday he decided to try to let go of the sofa and stand. He was quite excited and kept trying it. The BIG news is that he started taking steps yesterday. While standing he decided he wanted to see his dad and took a step towards him. He did it a couple of other times but decided to just keep it to one step. I cannot believe how much he is growing and I can assure you I am not ready for him to be full on walking so I am hoping he slows down some (probably wishful thinking :) )

We love the fall!

We can hardly believe that the fall is here (probably because it is still in the upper 90's), but we have been having fun! Last weekend we took C to the pumpkin patch and he absolutely loved it! As soon as he got around all of the pumpkins and children he lit up! He loved climbing all over the pumpkins and he could not stop looking at everything.
C has started eating more and more "people" food. He was never a huge fan of baby food, though he loved anything orange (sweet potato, carrot, squash). He has now had cheerios, chicken, rice, oatmeal, peaches, mandarin oranges, bread and cheese-lots and lots of cheese! Today he had cheese quesadilla and LOVED it! He is turning into a great eater.
We had his nine month appointment last week and he is now 28 3/4 inches long and about 20 pounds...he had lost a little weight but they account that to his health issues that are doing somewhat better now. We are unsure as to what C is allergic to but the Zyrtec does help.

C's new toy!

Conor is crawling everywhere now and can pull himself up! He hates anything that keeps him from moving. Seth bought C a new toy this weekend which he seems to like a lot! He chases the dogs around and they are not enjoying his new toy! C is also a big fan of cheerios! He is eating chunkier foods and wants to eat more than he is allowed to. Hope you are all well.

Conor is trying really hard to crawl now and he almost has it. He puts his head down and pushes with his legs-it really looks like he is swimming. He has had a rough week as he is getting his second tooth and is sleeping very little at night again. He is growing so quickly-where has the time gone?

Happy Birthday Mia Rosa!!

Today was Conor's cousin Mia Rosa's birthday. While grandpa was holding C he reached and successfully grabbed a strawberry. Much to his dismay, he was unable to chew it but it sure looked good and he had a great time 'playing' with it! We spent the day running errands and today we bought C's new car seat! Can hardly believe that he fits into it now-where has the little baby gone? Seth is traveling this week so C and daddy are spending time together. Happy birthday to Mia and my brother Dave!

Since I send out hundreds of Conor pictures-I have decided to start a blog where I can post what's new with Conor (and Seth and myself as well)! C is getting big-at his six month appointment he weighed 18 pounds and was 27 inches long. He has started solid foods and hates cereal and peas. His favorites so far are carrots and pears-yum! He is close to crawling but gets very frustrated and rolls over instead! The big news this week is that C is getting his first tooth! He has a tooth breaking through on the bottom left side-he hates to let anyone look at it but we can definitely feel it! He continues to be a happy baby and I love being his mommy!
